This effect could be done stand up, I guess, but its a bit small so I recommend uusing it as a close up mental mystery.

Four cardboard "strips" are shown (each about 2 inches by 8 inches) and each bears four simple symbols -- circle, star, happy face, flower, the card suits, check mark, etc etc -- There are 16 DIFFERENT symbols depicted on the four strips.

A strip is given to each of four speactators, who mentally choose and remember one of the symbol on their strip. Once this is done, the strips are collected and mixed, and then re-shown to the spectators, one at a time.

The spectators are asked if they see their thought-of symbol on the strip. If the spectator replies yes, the mentalist immediately knows which symbol the spectator is thinking of.

This effect is a version of the famous Telepath effect (which was invented by Kevin Menard about 30 years ago). The original Telepath plaques/strips were larger, and the symbols had more of an ESP feel to them.

But the effects impact when done with Danny Archer's version is still just as strong.

Easy to do, and easy to carry around for table hoppers. Plaques are about 8 inches by 3 inches and laminated to last forever.

I don't see this item on Archer's website anymore -- maybe he had to stop making and selling it because it is the exact same method as Menard's original ??? I have one Telemental left to sell, so get it now if you want this.
